Sydney Indoor Hockey Association, along with host region Northern Sydney and Beaches Hockey Association is pleased to announce that we will again offer a full program of U14, U16 & U18 Greater Sydney Cup indoor hockey tournaments in 2024.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to our neighbouring associations from the Greater Sydney area to participate in term 4.

Previous events staged since 2021 have been a huge success. Streamed live on YouTube and attended by many family and friends, the events were competitive and fun. The tournaments served as an excellent opportunity for players to have match-play before their Indoor State Championship competitions. 

Our belief is that these events improve the quality of rep programs, making them more relevant, enjoyable and challenging for participants - which aligns perfectly with our mutual aspirations for association junior hockey.

The Hunter Cup, traditionally run at Niagara Park the weekend in advance of U14 & U16 State Championships will not be going ahead this year, so we have assumed those dates in the calendar.

The dates for the championships are:

U16B & U16G - Sunday 10th November, Narrabeen Sports Centre

U18B - Sunday 10th November, Marie Bashir Mosman Sports Centre

U18G - Sunday 17th November, Marie Bashir Mosman Sports Centre

U14B - Sunday 1st December, Willoughby Leisure Centre 

U14G - Sunday 8th December, Willoughby Leisure Centre 

The venues for the events may be subject to change depending on the number of teams entered.

Access to venues this year has been restricted and the number of teams that can be accommodated will be restricted to manageable numbers. It is advisable to notify me of your teams asap as we will have a practical limitation on entries in every age group.
